Welcome!

Well, Howdy!

I am currently in the process of receiving my Masters of Arts in Teaching at the University of Southern California. I obtained my Bachelors in Liberal Studies with a Biology minor from the University of La Verne. Both schools have been a great honor to be a part of, and have helped tremendously in shaping and promoting my growth while becoming a certified Teacher! ❤️

My passion lies in Science, but also in the students and my aspirations to teach!!

(I am new to blogging so your feedback is greatly appreciated!)

  1. Welcome to EDUC407! Sounds like you have a full schedule AND some! I was on my own with Phoebe for several years and earned my Masters during that time~ it isn’t easy. You will have much to be proud of when you are done with school!

  2. Hi, Janice. You certainly do sound like you have your hands full. I’ve always admired single parents who manage to juggle work, school and parenting. Keep up the good work!

  3. That’s really awesome that you are so dedicated to getting work and school done while raising a child all at the same time. In the words of Joe Biden, sounds like “you got a back bone like a ramrod.” Your son is a lucky one, no doubt. Yea, life does not always go as planned, I can fully empathize. For me I know it feels great to be on the path toward being a teacher and I’m glad to see someone else share that sentiment. My sister was a special education student, dyslexia and ADHD. I’m curious, what types of special education kids do you work with in particular?
That’s so cool that your dad has a construction business too! By the sound of it you are more of a general contractor, jack of all trades. What kind of work do you guys do, commercial, residential, etc.? I cannot imagine working manual labor in this heat!! Working outside here is tough stuff. I’m excited to work with you (luckily at a computer!) and I look forward totally rocking our rock group assignments!
